(More customer reviews)We've used this type of thermometer for the last 5 years and like it very much. The numbers are easy to read. (For those of us with aging eyes, a nice bonus!). Nothing fancy, just a simple answer to "How cold is it?" or "How hot is it?" each day. We keep ours on a window which is under a covered patio; out of direct sunlight, snow, rain, etc. Never had a problem with it. We live at 6,000 feet elevation, so it's seen it's share of highs and lows temperature-wise. Easy to remove when you need to clean the window, too.
