We just got a new (to us) car and the previous owner took off bird droppings with a dry paper-towel (OUCH!). The paint was heavily scratched (not through clear coat) in two areas because of this.
The best part about this kit is the included book and dvd that show you exactly what to do. The included polish is the 'standard' griots garage polish - meaning that this is what is recommended for most paint conditions. The included wax is their highest quality wax. It is supposed to give the best shine on the car, but will not last as long as their less shiny waxes. All other itmes are the only available of what they do from Griots.
I read the book and watched the dvd. After a half day washing, clay-baring, polishing, and waxing the car - I was very impressed with the results. The heavy scratching from the previous owner's ignorance was nearly gone and the shine on the car was amazing.
I loved the products enough to convince me to purchase many more items from Griot's Garage - including their wash kit.
