(More customer reviews)I like the PVA sponge for many reasons. First, it is the most absorbent thing on the planet. Sham Wow? Sorry dude, this thing has it beat. It soaks up spilled drinks and water super fast, and doesn't drip on the way to the sink like a regular sponge. When you ring it out it's like a waterfall. Pretty cool, actually. Second, I like that it doesn't pick up grit or other particles that get lodged in regular sponges and can scratch the paint on your car. Third, I was surprised to find out that it really does work well for applying varnish in light coats, without any brush marks, although it's hard to get it in tight corners like a brush so you'll still need a brush with the varnish job. Lastly, the thing is super durable and lasts a couple years. Nice product, does what it claims. Just make sure to follow the storage directions.
