I have sixteen gallons in mine which brings the fluid to the tray level.
Very easy to assemble even with the typical very poor chinese directions that even leave out some critical items such as the fiber filter that goes in front of the pump suction, without using this your pump most likely will not last long. When my shipment came it was in the original box from china and not in very good shape. The parts washer suffered some dents and scratches and the styrofoam packing material was busted all up. The reason I mention this is because the fiber filter is white in color just like the packing material and almost got tossed out. If I hadn't looked at the parts list I would have not known it even existed. Amazon should repackage this item to avoid damaged goods! I didn't send mine back because it was needed but I did have to do some straightning and dent removal.
Quality is the same as you could expect from china so that is why the four star.
