Using the Griot's Garage Spray-On Car Wash, it takes two to three of these to wash a BMW 328i, for example, just to give you an idea of the size vehicle you can expect to clean with the cloths. That excludes the wheels, which I would not do with these great towels, as the brake dust will stain them and the stains are hard to remove from any fiber.
When washing vehicles, you need to look at just how dirty the vehicle is, and use some common sense. If it's very dirty and muddy for example, this is not the route to go. For the weekly wash in a place like Southern California it works well. Saves the automatic touchless car wash cost and hassle, takes about 15 minutes, and followed up by some spray way or Speed Shine by Griot's, the cars look great. Works well even on the Jet Black BMW and the Arctic Metallic as well. Have noticed no scratches.
A tip is to keep the car wet! Spray well and don't be stingy with the spray wash. Rotate, turn over and fold the towel often. You'll be amazed how well this system works. Once again, if the vehicle is too gritty, or has mud or other heavy grime, it's time for the car wash, and not the spray on wash. Be sensible about how you use the product and you should be very pleased.
