(More customer reviews)I'll be honest, I origionally bought an expensive washbucket "system" from another manufacturer which I returned promptly for a variety of reasons. Spending more doesn't always get you more. Lesson learned! This simple little guard makes a standard 5 gallon bucket the perfect wash pail. The benefits while washing are obvious. But I found another bonus after I used it. When the washing is done and you throw all your stuff in the bucket to store it, the guard keeps the wash mits up off the bottom allowing some air circulation. The mits dry faster and don't get musty.
Also, this model has the two finger holes in the middle, so you can lift the thing out without having to dump the entire contents of the bucket. Some models don't have this, so it's worth mentioning. It's the little things!
