(More customer reviews)Let me explain my title; I say "seems" decent for two reasons: 1. I haven't actually used the mitt yet. It just arrived today. 2. What you see in the one picture on Amazon is only 1/3 of the "3-in-1" mitt. I have uploaded more pictures onto the Amazon product page so you can see everything you're getting...on the sides are 'scrubbing mesh panels,' and on the back is a non-strand soft material that I think is to help the car shine as you wash, but there is actually no described difference of use between the flat back side and the microfiber strands in front.
I wanted to post the pictures and reviews right away so that anyone wanting to buy would have all this information...I was wanting a wash mitt that was microfiber strands front and back, so I'm a little displeased. However, the strands on the front are very dense, which I was happy with, and the mitt overall seems to be a pretty good product.
Just by inspection, my biggest complaint is that the 'scrubbing mesh panels' on the side are made of typical thin nylon mesh placed over a thin layer of basic thin foam, and gives me no reason to believe it's an especially durable feature at all. I imagine it will wear out and start tearing up/falling off pretty quickly with regular use...especially since that portion of the mitt is intended for 'road tar, bugs, tree sap, or stubborn stains.'
**Update**
I either missed it or my mitt was allergic to water...I slipped it on my hand to use it for the first time, dipped it in my soap, and pulled it out, admiring how much water it held...only to notice the cheap netting/foam on the side had sure enough torn open along the seam. I will be returning to Amazon as defective.
