(More customer reviews)A word of warning. This lock comes in three different lengths: 5/8", 1 1/8", and this one is 7/8". Take all of the locks that you are planning to replace out and measure the length before ordering your replacement locks. The diameter on all of these locks is 3/4". Having said that, this is a great lock. It's easy to instal and works easier than the regular keyed lock that came with my RV. Also, I was told by my RV dealer that all RV owners have the same key for outside storage compartments. This replacement lock gives you just a little more security. All of the locks I ordered were keyed the same, which is good and bad. Good for obvious reasons and bad because maybe all those who replace their RV's with this lock will have the same key. Not a big deal because if someone really wanted to get into your outside storage, they could do it regardless of what lock you used. Bottom line: I really like how these keys operate and I have a little more peace of mind. The only downside to the Cam lock is that you can't remove the key when it's in the unlocked position. Therefore, when you open your storage door, you either have to leave your key on the door or turn it to the locked position to remove the key. Not a problem if you have a catch to keep the door open.
