I owned a predecessor to this (I think it was a FlipEase) and loved it--basically the same thing as this one. It didn't last forever (2 years maybe--it started leaking so that's when I chucked it) but I put it to work every day and loved it while it worked. Since I got it at a discount store for very little, I wasn't worried about it breaking. I found another at the same store this week (Ollie's if you have one, I think I only paid about $13 or so) and grabbed it. These work very well if you have hard surfaces and small children, and therefore want to keep your floors as clean as possible while they are crawling around. :) It vacuums up little bits without you having to sweep, and then you can turn around and do a quick damp mop. Pads can be washed (and 2 more only cost $5, so I order extra--a one time fee of 5 bucks is much better than Swiffer pads on the list every week). I do not use the surface cleaner included because I have hardwoods and it isn't approved, but it works fine with other cleaners (I use a bit of diluted Murphy's oil soap in it and never had any trouble.) A charge lasts for long enough for me to vacuum all our hard surfaces. This really makes life easier and my house cleaner! Love it. :) I gave it 4 stars because it didn't last more than 2 years, but it gets 5 for performance, IMO.
